Online Psychological Counselling with Sally Schulze
Your wellbeing matters -- and support is closer than you think
Perhaps you have been carrying a weight that is hard to put into words. The racing thoughts at 3 a.m., the tightness in your chest before a meeting, or the creeping sense that life has become something you endure rather than enjoy. These experiences are more common than most people realise, and they deserve proper attention.
I am Sally Schulze, a Qualified Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Through one-to-one online sessions, I help you make sense of what you are going through and build practical, evidence-based skills you can use in your daily life. My goal is not to give you quick fixes but to help you develop a genuine, lasting sense of confidence and calm.
"Real change begins when you stop trying to manage everything alone and allow yourself the space to be heard."

How I Work
A space built around you, not a textbook
A space built around you, not a textbook
Every person who comes to me has a different story, and I treat it that way. I draw on cognitive behavioural techniques because they are practical and well-researched, but I shape every session around what you actually need -- not a one-size-fits-all formula.
You will never feel judged or rushed. Some sessions might be reflective and quiet; others might involve concrete exercises you can take into your week. And yes, there is room for humour, too. Counselling does not have to feel heavy to be meaningful.

About Me
The person behind the practice
The person behind the practice
I am Sally Schulze -- a Qualified Psychologist, entrepreneur, and someone who genuinely believes that good support can change the course of a life. Over the years I have worked with people across cultures and continents, and I bring that breadth of perspective to every session.
When I am not working, you might find me exploring Frankfurt's coffee scene, recording my podcast, or somewhere by the sea recharging. I believe a well-rounded life makes for a better psychologist.

Common Questions About Online Psychological Counselling
How is psychological counselling different from psychotherapy?
Psychological counselling concentrates on specific life challenges and equipping you with practical tools to handle them. It is goal-oriented and typically shorter-term than psychotherapy, which tends to address deeper clinical diagnoses. Think of counselling as working with a qualified professional to solve a defined problem and build resilience for the future.
Is online counselling as effective as in-person sessions?
Research consistently shows that online counselling delivers outcomes comparable to face-to-face work, especially for concerns like anxiety, stress, and sleep difficulties. Many clients actually prefer it -- you can attend from your own home, which often makes it easier to open up and feel comfortable.
What happens in a typical session?
Each session runs for 60 minutes via secure video call. In our first meeting we explore what brought you here and agree on the areas you would like to focus on. From there, sessions are a mix of conversation, guided reflection, and practical exercises tailored to your situation. You always decide the pace.
How quickly can I expect to see progress?
That depends entirely on your unique situation. Some clients notice meaningful shifts after two or three sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over several months. After our initial conversation, I will share my honest recommendation -- there is never any pressure to commit to more sessions than you need.
What are the fees for counselling?
A single 60-minute session is 170€. I also offer discounted bundles of 3 or 5 sessions for clients who would like to work together over a longer period. Full details are available on the pricing page.
