Psychologist Sally Schulze
Sally Schulze Psychologist & Counsellor

Thank you for visiting our psychological counselling page for Berlin. Living in this fast-paced capital can be exhilarating, yet it often brings an unexpected emotional toll. The sheer scale of the city, the relentless rhythm of daily life, and the challenge of carving out a sense of belonging in such a sprawling metropolis can leave you feeling adrift. When the novelty wears off and the weight of anonymity settles in, it is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed -- and you do not have to face it on your own.

Through my work as an online psychological counsellor, I have come to understand the specific pressures that Berlin places on its residents. It is seldom one single issue -- rather, it is the draining search for a flat, the red tape at every turn, and the sensation of being invisible in a city of millions. These everyday burdens quietly chip away at your wellbeing.

On this page you will find local practitioners in Berlin who may be able to help, alongside information about my online counselling practice. My sessions are designed to support you right where you are -- whether you are a recent arrival still finding your feet or a long-term resident who has never quite felt settled. Everyone deserves a space where their experience is genuinely understood.

  • About Me -- Sally Schulze

A question I hear surprisingly often: Sally, do you look after your own wellbeing too? The honest answer is: absolutely. As a speaker, expert, and founder, women's health is at the heart of everything I do. But I have learnt that giving my best means also protecting my own energy.

I live by a simple principle: walk the talk. So beyond MentalStark, TED stages, and podcast episodes, you will just as easily find me in a Frankfurt cafe, wandering by the lake, or carving turns on a snowboard.

My Qualifications and Approach

As a qualified psychological counsellor (CBT) and certified fertility counsellor (BKiD), I have accumulated more than 3,000 hours of dedicated online counselling experience. My practice is rooted in genuine warmth and radical acceptance -- I hold space for you to feel truly seen and valued, exactly as you are.

Central to my work is the quality of the relationship we build together. Your lived experience as someone navigating life in a new place calls for a particular kind of understanding, because moving between cultures brings challenges that are both profound and deeply personal.

Online Counselling for People Living Abroad

With extensive experience in psychological counselling, I provide a warm, non-judgemental online space for you. I recognise how taxing Berlin life can be -- when you feel lost amid limitless choices, when professional pressure mounts, and when the city's vastness makes genuine human connection seem impossibly distant.

In our video sessions, we work together to untangle what you are going through. Whether Berlin's unrelenting tempo is wearing you down, you are struggling with questions of identity, or homesickness has settled deep in your chest -- we will explore ways to move from merely surviving to actually flourishing here.

If your relationship is under strain -- especially one that bridges different cultural backgrounds -- my couples counselling can help you find common ground, restore understanding, and rebuild closeness.
